A new mural has been added to the memorial for Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston's Magnolia Park neighborhood.

The memorial sits at the site where Salgado, a Houston resident and father of three, was shot and killed by ICE last month.⁠ ⁠

Angel Quesada, a local artist who created the mural, said he hopes it will serve as an outlet for people to express their feelings and frustrations, as well as a way for people to continue to honor Salgado.⁠ ⁠

The mural was built on a newly installed barricade made to protect the mural as METRO continues road work on Canal Street.⁠
